Abstract

An electric motor driven liquid pump, which can be used for forced lubrication of a motor vehicle manual transmission, has a housing flange-mountable on a fluid container via a flange surface. A stator including a motor winding and a magnetic rotor are incorporated in the housing for conveying liquid. The housing is formed of multiple parts including a pump housing section which has fluid inlets and outlets, a stator housing section which holds the stator and together with the pump housing section, delimits an electronics chamber in which the rotor is arranged, and a motor housing section which together with the stator housing section delimits an electronic chamber in which at least the stator is located. A sealing element seals the flange surface to the fluid container, separates the fluid chamber and the electronic chamber, and seals the latter from the environment.
