Abstract

A scroll compressor includes partition plate () that partitions an inside of sealed container () into high-pressure space () and low-pressure space (), and fixed scroll () adjacent to partition plate (). The scroll compressor includes orbiting scroll () that meshes with fixed scroll () to form compression chamber (), rotation restrictor () that prevents rotation of orbiting scroll (), and main bearing () that supports orbiting scroll (). Fixed scroll (), orbiting scroll (), rotation restrictor (), and main bearing () are disposed in low-pressure space (), and fixed scroll () and orbiting scroll () are disposed between partition plate () and main bearing (). The scroll compressor includes bearing coupler () provided in main bearing (), scroll coupler () provided in fixed scroll (), and pillar member () having a lower end and an upper end, the lower end being inserted in bearing coupler () and the upper end being inserted in scroll coupler (). A coupling region where pillar member () couples with scroll coupler () is in intersecting relationship with a horizontal plane positioned at a center of a scroll wrap height of fixed scroll ().
