Abstract
A gateway apparatus () of a mobile communications network system, which is a termination point of signaling messages of a first protocol generates a packet data unit including information relevant for communicating user data of a second protocol between an entity () of the first protocol and a network () of the second protocol, and transmits the packet data unit to a distributed gateway element () of plural distributed gateway elements for communicating user data in the mobile communications network system, according to a third protocol.
