Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4-Generation (4G) communication system such as long term evolution (LTE). According to the present disclosure, a method for providing a connection with a radio access network via a wireless backhaul comprises determining one of a first state in which a first node connected with the radio access network is operated using all of beams and a second state in which the first node is operated using an beam of the first node determined in the first state as an operation mode of the first node and providing, by the first node, the connection with the radio access network to a radio access node in the determined operation mode.
