Abstract

To provide a tapered roller bearing provided with a retainer formed of resin capable of being molded by using a simple molding die, and capable of retaining a tapered roller stably when the tapered roller and the retainer are integrated, and capable of improving mechanical strength and lubricating performance on a guide surface as needed. A retainerin the tapered roller bearing is formed of an injection molded body formed by injection molding a resin composition. The retainerincludes a large diameter ring portion, a small diameter ring portion, and a column portionwhich joins both of them. A pocket portionis formed between the column portions adjacent to each other. An injection molding die dividing line X along an axial direction is formed on the column portion. A guide portionfor a tapered rollerformed of a surface, which narrows a width of an opening of the pocket portion in a circumferential direction, is arranged on the column portionat a small diameter side with respect to the dividing line X and an outer diameter side of the retainer. A claw portionfor drop-off of the tapered rolleris arranged on the column portionat a small diameter side with respect to the dividing line X and an inner diameter side of the retainer.
