A three-color light sourceis a three-color light source that combines red, green, and blue laser light so as to output light. The three-color light sourceincludes a red LD, a green LD, a blue LD, a first collimator lens, a second collimator lens, a third collimator lens, a first wavelength filter, a second wavelength filter, a carrierthat is equipped with the LDsto, the collimator lensesto, and the wavelength filtersand, and a TECthat is equipped with the carrier. The red LDis formed of a GaAs-based material, and the green LDand the blue LDare formed of GaN-based materials.
