Abstract
A battery terminal () includes a body () with C-shaped upper and lower plate mounting portions (). First and second fastening portion () have bolt accommodating portions () respectively. A fastening member () is assembled with the first and second fastening portions () and is configured to reduce the diameters of the upper and lower plate mounting portions (). The fastening member () includes a fastening bolt () having a head (), a column () extending from the head () and a shaft () extending from the column (). The column () is accommodated into the bolt accommodating portions (), and a nut () is screwed onto the shaft (). The shaft () is insertable through the bolt insertion hole () of a washer (), but the column () is not insertable through the bolt insertion hole ().
