Abstract
A medical manifold for use in providing access to a fluid flow path. The medical manifold can include a valve member having a diaphragm and first and second support members extending from a bottom surface of the diaphragm. The first and second support members can be positioned to define a line of symmetry that's bisects the bottom surface of the diaphragm. The diaphragm can have a first position in which a top surface thereof is generally planar and a second position in which the diaphragm is flexed downward around the line of symmetry.
