Abstract
A blood pump () includes a stator assembly comprising a motor stator (), a fluid inlet (), and a fluid outlet (). A rotor assembly includes a motor rotor () and an impeller () rotatable about an axis () to move fluid from the inlet () to the outlet (). An outflow sheath () directs the flow along the outside of the pump ().
