Abstract
A male terminal () has a male connecting portion () that is inserted into a female terminal () and is placed on a female connecting portion (). A movable piece () is supported by a support () of the female connecting portion () and can be displaced down relative to the support (). A female contact () is provided on the movable piece () and is displaceable between a non-pressing state where the female contact does not press the male connecting portion () and a pressing state where the female contact presses the male connecting portion (). A pressed portion () is at a position of the movable piece () where a distance from the support () exceeds a distance between the support () and the female contact (). The pressed portion displaces the female contact () from the non-pressing state to the pressing state.
