Abstract

The high pressure valve () has a high pressure region () and a low pressure region () and a shut-off element (). The shut-off element () is designed for closing and opening a fluid connection between the high pressure region () and the low pressure region () and to this end it can be moved in an axial direction (Z) between a closed closure position and an opened opening position. A seat gasket () is provided to form a seal in the closure position. The seat gasket () is a compression sealing seat gasket () which is affixed to the shut-off element () and is arranged in a recess provided in the shut-off element ().
