Abstract
The inventive method is of the type of those comprising a control stage for driving mode operation of the machine () in which currents of the phases in phase windings (u, v, w) of a stator () of the machine, which is connected to an on-board power system () supplied by a battery () providing a predetermined nominal voltage (Ubat), is 'full wave' controlled. In accordance with the invention, the control stage is preceded by a pre-magnetizing stage of the stator in open circuit, in which an electromotive peak force between phases substantially equal to the nominal voltage is created by a rotor excitation current (Ir) of a rotor () of the machine.
