Abstract
A pixel circuit and a drive method therefor, and an active matrix organic light-emitting display. The pixel circuit initializes an anode of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) through a seventh thin-film transistor (M), so that the aging of the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is slowed down and the service life of the organic light-emitting diode (OLED) is prolonged. The current output by a first thin-film transistor (M) serving as a drive element is determined by a data voltage provided by a data line (Dm) and an initialization voltage (Vref) provided by a third power supply and has nothing to do with external supply voltages and a threshold voltage of the first thin-film transistor (M), and therefore brightness non-uniformity caused by the deviation in the threshold voltage of the thin-film transistor and the change in the supply voltages can be avoided. Therefore, the active matrix organic light-emitting display which uses the pixel circuit and the drive method therefor prolongs the service life, and improves the display quality.
