Abstract

A continuously variable transmission is configured wherein an outer diameter of a first pulleyis smaller than an outer diameter of a second pulley, a first input shaftand a second input shafthave a parallel coaxial structure, the first input shaftand a first output shaftare linked via a LO clutchand a first transmission gear assembly; and the second input shaftand a second output shaftare linked via a HI clutchand a second transmission gear assembly. In-low-speed mode, a drive torque outputted from the second pulleyis transmitted to a differential via the second transmission gear assembly, a second low-speed gear, and a low final gear, whereas in high-speed mode, a drive torque outputted from the first pulley is transmitted to the differential via a high final gear
