Abstract
A lens barrelincludes an optical system including a first lens unit held by a first holder and a second lens unit held by a second holder. The lens barrelincludes a first cam barrelto be driven rotatably about an optical axis of the optical system in zooming, a second cam barrelto be driven in an optical axis direction of the optical system in synchronization with the first cam barrel, and a third cam barrelto be driven in the optical axis direction in synchronization with the first cam barreland driven rotatably about the optical axis in focusing. The second cam barrelis provided with a first linear movement groove and a first cam groove. The third cam barrelis provided with a second cam groove and a second linear movement groove.
