Abstract

The present invention relates to a vaccine comprising at least one peptide consisting of 7 to 19 amino acid residues consisting of the amino acid sequence (X)KDXQLGX(SEQ ID No. 99), wherein Xis an amino acid residue selected from the group consisting of alanine, asparagine, glutamine, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, serine, threonine, tyrosine and valine, Xis an amino acid residue selected from the group consisting of alanine, arginine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, threonine, tyrosine and valine. Xis (X4)nANISX5 (SEQ ID No. 100) or an N-terminal truncated fragment thereof consisting of 1 to 4 amino acid residues, Xis VVASQLR (SEQ ID No. 101) or an N-terminal truncated fragment thereof consisting of 1 to 6 amino acid residues, Xis an amino acid residue selected from the group consisting of alanine, asparagine, glutamine, glutamic acid, histidine, arginine, isoleucine, lysine, methionine, serine and threonine, m is 0 or 1, and n is 0 or 1, wherein said at least one peptide is coupled or fused to a carrier comprising at least one T-cell epitope.
