Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing at least one stack () formed of bags (), comprising the following steps: feeding tubular or semitubular material in order to form a bottom material layer () and a top material layer (), introducing at least one weld seam () in order to connect the bottom material layer () and the top material layer () in order to form individual, but still connected bags (), introducing a formatting fold () into the layer web, formed of still connected bags (), separating the bags () connected in the formatted layer web into individual bags (), wherein said bags () still have the formatting field (), forming a packet of individual bags () into a stack () having a defined number of bags (), and introducing at least one fold into the stack ().
