Abstract
A bearing device for a vehicle wheel () includes: an outer ring (), serving as an outer member; an inner member in which the inner member including a hub ring () that has an integral wheel mounting flange (B) to which a wheel is mounted, and at least one inner ring () that is press-fitted to a small-diameter step part (A) of the hub ring; ball rows () that are accommodated in a freely rolling manner; and a bottomed-tube-shaped cover () fitted to an inner-side opening (B) of the outer member. In order to retain grease enclosed between the outer member and the inner member near the ball rows, an outside damming member (D), which is formed of a ring-shaped elastic body extending radially inward, is provided at a side (A) of the cover.
