Abstract
The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock () comprising: a lock housing (); an actuating nut () that is rotatably mounted in the lock housing (), the actuating nut () being mounted in the lock housing () such that said actuating nut can be rotated by an actuator acting externally on the actuating nut (); and a locking lever (), the locking lever () being displaceable by means of a rotation of the actuating nut (). The actuating nut () can be positioned in the lock housing by means of a housing cover ().
