Provided herein is an isolated polypeptide from'Beverleyensis' orcomprising a (+)-cedrol or a (−)-thujopsene synthase. Further provided herein is an isolated nucleic acid molecule from'Beverleyensis' orencoding a (+)-cedrol or (−)-thujopsene synthase. Further provided herein are methods of producing (+)-cedrol or (−)-thujopsene.
