Abstract

An apparatus () for dewatering fluids includes a dewatering chamber () through which the fluid for dewatering, especially by a gas that dries the fluid, can flow via an inlet () from a fluid reservoir () to a fluid input () of the dewatering chamber () and an outlet () from a fluid output () of the dewatering chamber () to the fluid reservoir (). A common line () is assigned alternately to the inlet () and the outlet (). A fluid pump () is disposed within the common line (). A control valve () connects the common line () to the fluid reservoir () in a first position and to the fluid output () of the dewatering chamber () in a second position. A flow divider () disposed at the opposite end of the common line () from the control valve () divides the fluid stream coming from the fluid pump () into a first substream (t) that leads to the fluid input () of the dewatering chamber () and a second substream (t) that leads to the fluid reservoir ().
