Abstract

The present subject matter relates to evaluation of a visual design of a user interface (UI). The method comprises receiving, from at least one reviewer, a response to a plurality of questions associated with a plurality of dimensions. The plurality of dimensions is indicative of criteria for assessment of the visual design of the UI. Further, an aggregate visual design quality index (VDI) score for the UI is computed. The VDIscore is computed based on the response received from the at least one reviewer, and a plurality of weighing factors corresponding to each of the plurality of dimensions. Subsequently, the VDIscore is compared with a pre-determined benchmark visual design quality index (VDI) score to evaluate the quality of the visual design of the UI.
