Abstract

A method, as well as a system, are disclosed for filling a container with an amount of liquid carbon dioxide (CO) which is partially converted into an amount of solid COin the container, for maintaining one or more products, loaded into the container, at a defined temperature, below a defined temperature, or within a defined temperature range, the defined temperature or the defined temperature range being below an environmental temperature. Also disclosed are a method and a system for providing identification and traceability data determining the container and the one or more products that have been loaded into the container, and for enabling identification of the container during transport to a particular destination.
