Abstract

The invention relates to a module cover () for an airbag () and/or an airbag module for being arranged beneath a vehicle roof (), especially in the area of an upper windscreen rim, wherein the module cover () comprises a module cover panel () having a rear side () pointing to the vehicle roof () during use and a front side () pointing away from the vehicle roof () during use. In accordance with the invention, the module cover panel () comprises an elongate clearance portion () preferably formed over the entire width (B) of the module cover panel () in the form of an elongate indentation () configured in the front side () of the module cover panel ().
