Abstract
A filter element () for a liquid medium, in particular fuel, having a first vent channel () connected at the intake end to the pre-filtration side () of the filter element (), a second vent channel () connected at the intake end to the post-filtration side () of the filter element (); and a vent tube () having has at one end an inlet opening () and at the other end an outlet opening for fluidic connection of the vent tube () to a vent stub of a filter housing, or a vent tube portion for connection to a vent tube of a filter housing.
