Abstract
Provided is a simple-structured tensioner that can reduce the processing and assembling workload. A tensionerincludes a plunger, a housing, a main spring, and a relief valve. The relief valveincludes a seat member, a valve member, and a relief spring. The plungerincludes an outward relief passage, and a bottom protrusionprotruding rearward integrally with and continuously from a plunger bottom.
