Abstract
The display device () comprises an array of rows and columns of pixels. The display device further comprises a plurality of commonly controlled first electrodes (FE) for supplying a common signal (DS) to each pixel (), a plurality of commonly controlled second electrodes (SE) for supplying a further common signal (DS) to each pixel, and a plurality of pixel addressing electrodes (AC, AC, AC, AC) for addressing the individual pixels. At least the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes are routed parallel to one another, such that crossovers between the commonly controlled electrodes are eliminated.
