Abstract

The aim of the invention is to improve the primary detergency of detergents and cleaning agents, in particular with respect to soils containing oil and/or grease. This is substantially achieved by the incorporation of polymers which can be obtained by the copolymerization of N-vinylpyrrolidone with ethylenically unsaturated compounds that have an amide function, said polymers having an aggregation parameter X, where X>1 mN/m.
