Abstract

Method for gauging the autonomy of a system for storing and delivering gaseous ammonia to a consumer unit (), the system comprising: a gaseous-ammonia storage cell () comprising a dedicated heating means (), and at least one sensor () of at least one parameter of the system, the method comprising steps consisting in: controlling the system on the basis of an intrusive reference datum independent of an ammonia demand from the consumer unit (), during the control step, taking an intrusive measurement of at least one parameter of the system using the sensor (), and comparing the intrusive measurement against a threshold value of at least one parameter under the control conditions in order to estimate the autonomy of the system with respect to a filling threshold of the cell () that corresponds to the threshold value of the parameter.
