Abstract
The invention relates to a surgical microscope stand () encompassing: a first carriage () that is arranged on a first carrier arm () and is drivable by a first drive unit; and a second carriage () that is arranged on a second carrier arm () and is drivable by a second drive unit. The surgical microscope stand () further encompasses an operating region () within which at least one operating unit for manual application of control to the first and second drive units is provided.
