Abstract

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for load balancing connections of remote sensors in connection with a control session. A controller device can connect with a self-propelled device and a number of remote sensors. User can operate the self-propelled device to interact with the remote sensors, and such detection event may be logged or tallied in accordance with session rules. Upon detection of one or more additional controller device, the controller device can initiate a negotiation process to hand off one or more of the remote sensors to other controller devices to optimize bandwidth usage.
