Abstract

Disclosed are a negative active material for a rechargeable lithium battery including a silicon-based material and graphite, wherein an average particle diameter (D50) of the graphite may range from about 5 μm to about 15 μm, and a Raman peak intensity ratio (I/I) of the graphite may range from about 0.1 to about 0.9, and a negative electrode and a rechargeable lithium battery including the same.
