Abstract

An exemplary embodiment provides a flexible display device including a display panel that includes: a substrate; a plurality of pixel electrodes positioned on the substrate; a pixel defining layer positioned on the substrate and having openings overlapping the plurality of pixel electrodes; a common electrode positioned on the plurality of pixel electrodes; a plurality of emission layers positioned between the plurality of pixel electrodes and the common electrode and overlapping the openings of the pixel defining layer; and a plurality of first linear bars positioned across the substrate. The display panel is bendable in a first direction, and each of the plurality of linear bars continuously extends in a second direction crossing the first direction.
