Abstract
A display apparatus includes: a frameto be mounted on the head of a viewer; and an image display deviceattached to the frame. The image display deviceincludes: an image forming device; and an optical devicethat guides an image from the image forming deviceto an eye of the viewer. The optical deviceincludes: a first deflecting unitthat deflects the image from the image forming device; and a second deflecting unitthat deflects the image deflected by the first deflecting unit, toward the eyeof the viewer. A light reflecting memberis further provided to face the image forming device, with the optical devicebeing interposed between the image forming deviceand the light reflecting member. Light emitted from the image forming devicepasses through the optical device, is reflected by the light reflecting member, reenters the optical device, and is deflected by the first deflecting unit
