Abstract
The invention provides a hydraulic lash adjuster equipped with a cost effective dropout preventing mechanism for preventing a plunger from dropping out of a housing. The lash adjuster comprises: a cylindrical bottomed housing (), a plunger (), housed inside the housing (), having an outer periphery in contact with the inner periphery of the housing (), and a dropout preventing mechanism ().
