Abstract
An image processing apparatus () includes a synthesizer () that synthesizes a first image (image A) with a second image (image B) having a parallax relative to the first image to generate a synthetic image, the first image and the second image being based on outputs of a single image sensor (), and a filter () that performs filtering processing on the synthetic image, the filtering processing being based on a point spread function of an image pickup optical system () that is used to generate the first image and the second image.
