Abstract
A control method for detecting the operating status of the nozzles of an ink-jet printhead, comprising the following steps: detecting an inlet pressure and an outlet pressure in a feeding channel () of the nozzles () in a closing condition of all the nozzles (); detecting a reference pressure differential between the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure; opening each nozzle () in sequence and separately from the others; detecting the pressure differential between the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure in an opening condition of a single nozzle (); comparing the detected differential pressure with the reference pressure differential.
