A backlight deviceincludes at least: a plurality of LEDsarranged in an annular and curved shape; a light guide platesurrounded by the plurality of LEDshaving am outer shape along the arrangement of the plurality of LEDs, and guiding light from the plurality of LEDs; and an LED board (light source board)on which the plurality of LEDsare mounted and wiring portionsfor feeding power to the plurality of LEDsare formed.
