Abstract
Provided is a mascara applicator for shaping eyelashes while heating the eyelashes and applying mascara liquid while heating the mascara liquid to a suitable temperature so that application of makeup on the eyelashes can be carried out in a short time in total. The mascara applicator includes: a containerfor housing mascara liquid; an application bodyto be attached to and detached from the container; and a shaping bodyto be attached to and detached from the application body. The application bodyincludes an application rodin a shape of a hollow shaft to be inserted into the containerand an application portionprovided at an end portion of the application rod. The shaping bodyincludes a shaping rodto be housed by insertion into the application rod, a heating shaping portion, and a heater. The heatercan be switched between an OFF state and two stages of ON states. A heat generating temperature of the heaterin a state in which the shaping bodyis attached to the application bodyis set to be lower than a heat generating temperature of the heaterin a state in which the shaping bodyis detached from the application body
