Abstract
An organic EL display deviceincludes: an organic EL elementprovided above an element substrate; and a sealing filmformed above the element substrateso as to cover the organic EL element, and made of silicon nitride (SiNx). The sealing filmis comprised of a first sealing layer, a second sealing layerprovided on the surface of the first sealing layer, and a third sealing layerprovided on the surface of the second sealing layer. This organic EL display deviceis characterized in that a ratio of an SiN-group content to an NH-group content is higher in the first and third sealing layersandthan in the second sealing layerbased on the absorption area ratio determined by FT-IR measurement.
