Abstract

A polarizing plate including an optical functional film and a polarizing film (polarizer), the polarizing plate being thin and excellent in durability of the polarizing film. The polarizing plate includes an optical functional film, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a polarizing film, and a protective film in the stated order, in which: the polarizing film has a thickness of 15 μm or less; the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a thickness of 15 μm or less; the optical functional film has a moisture permeability of 200 g/m/24 h or less; and the protective film has a moisture permeability of 1,000 g/m/24 h or less.
