A light-guiding element () for a lighting unit, comprising a light-guiding body () having at least one light entry face () and at least one light exit face (), wherein the at least one light entry face () comprises a plurality of entry sub-faces () offset from one another at least in the light propagation direction (−x), wherein the entry sub-faces () are oriented substantially normal to the light propagation direction (−x).
