Abstract

The invention relates to an endoscope (), comprising an endoscope tube () fastened to a main body (). According to the invention a connection piece (), to which a cannula end () of a cannula () that can be placed onto the endoscope tube () can be fastened, is arranged on the endoscope tube () in such a way that the connection piece is axially movable between a first position and a second position, wherein a shaped element () of the main body () and a counter-shaped element () of the connection piece () form a rotation-prevention mechanism in the first position and enable a rotational motion of the connection piece () about a longitudinal axis of the endoscope tube () in the second position.
