Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a pre-5-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present invention relates to method and apparatus for performing a decoding with low complexity in a wireless communication system. A decoding method of a terminal in a wireless communication system comprises determining a first characteristic value indicating a statistical characteristic of an interference signal based on a received signal of a base station, determining a second characteristic value indicating a statistical characteristic of an interference signal based on data received from the base station, and decoding the data according to a decoding scheme corresponding to a difference of the first characteristic value and the second characteristic value.
