The invention relates to a blender () comprising a base part (), and a container () arranged on the base part (). The container () comprises a detachable bottom part (). The blenderalso comprises a sealing gasket () arranged between the detachable bottom part () and the container (). The sealing gasket () comprises at least one rib () extending upwards inside the container (). By having the ribs directly part of the sealing gasket, the container does not need any ribs on its inside surface.
