Abstract
The invention is an insert () for a tray () used for storing or conveying a spectacle lens () and a spectacle frame (). The insert () is mounted to engage various outward extensions () formed as part of the tray floor (). The insert () includes numerous beveled surfaces (), at least some of which can engage a spectacle lens placed on the insert. A vulcanized rubber dispersed in a plastic matrix used to construct the insert (). A frame pillow () is formed as a sheet () which overlays the tray floor (), creating a space which reduces or eliminates movement of the spectacle frame () during tray transport.
