Abstract
An infrared heat lamp () includes a heating element () wound about and supported by an inner tubular member () and an outer tubular member () enclosing the inner tubular member () and heating element (). The outer tubular member () includes an open first end () having a flange member () defined along an outer periphery thereof and a dome-like second end (). The infrared heat lamp () further includes a base member () having first and second discrete portions () secured to one another by a fastener () and retaining the flange member () of the open first end () of the outer tubular member () therebetween.
