An insulated electric cablehas a core memberformed by stranding a plurality of core wires, each of the core wiresincluding a conductorand an insulating layercovering the conductor, an inner sheathcovering the core member, an outer sheathcovering the inner sheath, and a paper tapedisposed between the core memberand the inner sheathin a state that it is wrapped around the core member, in which the outer sheathis formed by a flame-retardant polyurethane resin, and a cross-sectional area of each of conductorsis within 0.18-3.0 mm.
