Abstract
Described is a fan assembly comprising a body comprising an air inlet, an air outlet, and means for generating an air flow through the body, the body comprising a lower body section and an upper body section, the upper body section housing the means for generating the air flow and the lower body section housing a control circuit for controlling the means for generating the air flow. The fan assembly also comprises a nozzle for receiving the air flow from the body and for emitting the air flow, wherein the lower body section comprises an outer wall and an inner wall, the outer wall and inner wall defining an outer cavity surrounding an inner cavity, and wherein the control circuit is located within the inner cavity surrounded by the inner wall.
