Abstract
An airless tire has a cylindrical tread ringhaving a ground-contacting surface, a hub disposed on the radially inside of the tread ringand fixed to an wheel shaft, and spokes connecting between the tread ringand the hub. The tread ringhas a side wallcontinued from the ground-contacting surfaceand forming a ring side surface. The side wallhas a supporting portionwhich, when the tread ringalone is horizontally laid on a horizontal surface H, contacts with a horizontal surface H and supports the tread ringso that a ring axis Ais oriented in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal surface H.
